On October 4th, 2025, under the supervision of the head and the lecturers of the department of Translation at the International University of Erbil, second- and third-year students visited the London Translation Service Agency. The owner, Mr. Rfaai Rashid Mohammad, welcomed the students and gave an overview of the agency’s history. He explained the various types of translations he has carried out over the years, including legal translation, and shared insights on how to become a professional translator. The purpose behind this visit was to familiarize students with the workflow of a professional translation service, the tools used in the translation process, and the organizational structure of a translation agency. Additionally, the students gained a better understanding of the roles of translators, editors, and project managers, as well as the career opportunities available in the translation industry.
